Washington and Utah to meet for Pac-12 Championship: Waiting for the Replay will be there

After a hard-fought Pac-12 football regular season, just two contenders remain.

The Utah Utes from the Pac-12 South will battle the Washington Huskies from the North division at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium on Nov. 30, and Waiting for the Replay will be there.

I’ll be covering the #VanLife tailgate experience presented by 76, the championship game’s sponsor. The tailgate features former Washington Husky great Lincoln Kennedy and acclaimed local chef Ravi Kapur.

Kennedy also had a distinguished NFL career, most notably with the Oakland Raiders. Kapur is the proprietor of Liholiho Yacht Club in San Francisco, which specializes in cuisine from Kapur’s home state of Hawaii.

It’s going to be a great time, and I’ll tell you all about it. I watched Kennedy play with the Raiders, where he appeared in a Super Bowl, and Kapur and I have mutual friends from my time in the food industry.

I’ll get to watch the game too, of course. Washington took care of rival Washington State to advance to the title match. Utah rose to the top of what was once a tightly contested South division. The winner will have lifetime bragging rights as the 2018 Pac-12 champion.
