The Warriors are playing with our emotions this week regarding guard Stephen Curry’s injury status. He was reportably probable on Thursday, then he was offcially downgraded to questionable. Now, hours before Friday night’s game against the Clippers, Curry is probable once again, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
And as one cans see, forward Andrew Wiggins has been downgraded to questionable. The Warriors need all their players healthy if they’re to take down the Clippers, even the much maligned Wiggins.
In another piece of news to monitor, Raptors guard Kyle Lowry is out for Friday’s game against Sacramento. As Drew Shiller of NBC Sports Bay Area notes, Golden State faces the Raptors on Sunday. So stay tuned on that one.
But it’s always all about Curry. He tweaked his ankle late in Wednesday’s disappointing loss to LA. Thanks to baseball-type scheduling, however, the Warriors will get to run that back, so to speak. Perhaps they can improve significantly in Game No. 2 of the series as they did in blitzing the Blazers on Sunday by a wide margin (the 62-point game! Duh).
