What the heck does “possible” mean? With injuries, it’s always out, doubtful, probable, questionable. You know, normal stuff.
But with health and safety protocols in place due to the pandemic, we have a new injury designation. According to NBC Sports’ Kerith Burke, it’s “possible” center James Wiseman and forward Eric Paschall will play on Tuesday against the 76ers.
It’s of course too bad that superstar guard Stephen Curry won’t play. But at least he has a timetable I’ve heard of. He’s “day-to-day.”
Here’s a bit more info on why Wiseman and Paschall are a mere possibility for Tuesday, courtesy of Wes Goldberg of the San Jose Mercury News.
If they were to play, it would be a huge boost to the frontcourt. Center Kevon Looney will “definitely” play (I made that designation up). But seriously, he’ll suit up, per the Warriors.
With Golden State (22-21) fighting for playoff positioning, they can’t afford to lose too many more games to Covid-19. With vaccinations on the rise, that’s the ideal case for the Warriors and the rest of the NBA.
