Give former Warriors guard, NBA Hall of Famer and current analyst, Chris Mullen credit for being excited about Wiseman, but boo him for calling for a nickname that’s already taken. I heard Mullen suggest “Big Game James” right about the time Wiseman denounced “Big Jim.”

But Big Name James is already worn with pride by former Lakers guard James Worthy. Worthy and Mullen played in the same era, so I at least understand the laziness here. Another factor to consider: Wiseman hasn’t played in any big games yet. He suited up just three times in college.
