No. 7 | Big Jim

I’m not exactly sure where this nickname originated, but I do know where it ended. As I mentioned, Wiseman said no thanks to this one.

Do people even call Wiseman Jim? If you know, shoot me a line. But I haven’t heard that.

I like the “Big” part of this nickname, however. Wiseman is enormous, at 7-foot-1 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan. He has the skills of a smaller man, which is fantastic, but he still has to remember that he’s, well, big. The Warriors need him to play like it, grabbing rebounds and being an intimidating force in the paint on offense and defense.

But as Wiseman said, Big Jim “is not it.” So, moving on.
